Emily & Calum

This Canadian - Scottish wedding is going to leave you with all the feels! Emily and Calum’s wedding is one to swoon over - and then swoon some more. To be honest, I will never be done swooning.

The day started with a buzz at Ardoe House Hotel; adding the finishing touches to speeches, applying hair, makeup and finally, getting dressed. We then headed to Udny Green for an outdoor ceremony. Emily and Calum had a beautiful relaxed ceremony, with his mum officiating and their nearest and dearest both from Canada and Scotland telling the story of their relationship over the years.

Calum and Emily then took a walk through Pitmedden Garden’s for a quiet moment away from guests. Before we knew it, it was time for speeches, to which, I cried. No joke - full on tears at the father of the bride’s speech. His speech made my heart so full. It was amazing to see the adoration, respect and just how proud he was of his daughter.

The heavens opened just in time for the first dance. Showing everyone in the hall that the little Canadian farm girl, fell in love with the little Scottish farm boy and that they are going to live happily every after.

I thoroughly enjoyed photographing this beautiful wedding and it is one that I will truly never forget.
